Memorial Ceremonies

A memorial ceremony is usually held after a funeral and can be a focus and a real source of comfort.

Sometimes, bereaved families feel a conflict between wanting a funeral that is as private as possible and recognising the need to provide for a much larger circle of friends and colleagues.

If  your loved one has donated their body to science or has been buried abroad, a memorial service is a way to remember and celebrate someone at a place and time that suits family and friends.

There are no time restraints for a memorial service and you can read poems, watch home movies or play your loved one’s favourite music, in fact anything that celebrates their life and interests.

We can advise, help and organise the service and act as the master of ceremonies.
